HAIKKU POEMS
HAIKKU POEMS
leaves closed deep
in meditation
mimosa pudica
looking to the sky
i heard a silent cry
little star down to earth
through the mist
sun creeps in to the room
a spider weaves

Resurrection

Resurrection
Blended moonlight and dream for dinner,
A lonely nightingale’s song all drunk up,
Grumbling about the companion who never
showed up after a long wait,
The wick of hopes pulled down,
Hooting fears covered in blankets,
Listening to twinkling baby stars’ stories while asleep,
Embracing the night’s phase when the Queen of Night blooms,
Let me drink the potion of boredom and die,
To be resurrected tomorrow for you .
(a poem in malayalam written by me transilated by Padma Thambaty Faculty at University of Pittsburgh)

haikku poems
1
Storm waves off
The leaves of
disappointment
2
Ink stopped
the poem layed
unfinished
3
Morning slowly
removed the headscarf
of the bride
4
From the blackboard
flew away ,
The nightingale
sparrow jerked out
the snow on the wings,
a rainbow flashed
5
Carpet of
dead leaves,
the forest welcomes
6
Hurt souls
reflects on clouds,
sky, a mirror image.
